Learn the Exercise
B2 Tail Wag is a lumbar side-bend exercise with a small but important and movement component. The pleasant stretch is felt only when the rest of the body is stabilized.
Starting Position
Finish the previous exercise B1 Modified Cat at its low stretch position.
Lean on forearms.
Slightly raise pelvis from floor but maintain the neutral arch.
Avoid excessive lumbar lordosis and flaring of the ribs.
Movement
Side bend the pelvis from side to side.
Avoid spinal or pelvic rotation.
Avoid chest and head movement.
Perform 2-3 stretches to each side then proceed to exercise B3 Four Pillars.
